As part of the longstanding cooperation under the Japan Development Scholarship (JDS) Programme, the Embassy of Ghana in Tokyo held its annual engagement and signing ceremony with Japan Development Service Co. Ltd. (JDS) at the Chancery. The engagement featured substantive discussions between Mr. Daniel Okaiteye, Head of Chancery, and Ms. Katsutaka Kikkawa, Senior Consultant, International Student Program Division and Head of the JDS Delegation. The discussions focused on preparations for the upcoming programme cycle, including plans for the selection of thirteen (13) beneficiaries (twelve plus one )under existing arrangements. JDS further intimated that a team would travel to Ghana in February to commence the selection process. Mr. Okaiteye noted the continued enthusiasm among Ghanaian applicants and the positive learning outcomes of the programme.
