On Thursday, November 28th, 2024, The Head of Mission, H.E. Mrs. Apaloo had fruitful discussions with the Management of the KANRYU Industry Company Limited at the Chancery on how best to replicate the easy to operate Kanryu Magic Impeller Rice Husking, Milling and Stoner machines in the rice growing communities in Ghana. The management of Kanyu with successful track record of producing compact and easy to use rice processing machines for the Asia and Africa markets indicated their readiness to support rice processing in Ghana trough the adaptation of the Kanryu technology in various rice growing communities in the Central, Western, Western North, Ashanti, Eastern, Volta and the Oti regions of Ghana. We indicated the possibility of enrolling this initiative under the arrangements of various stakeholders in the Trade and Agriculture sectors of Ghana to unleash the capability and potentials of rice processing in small communities cultivating rice in Ghana.
