GHANA SHOWCASES INNOVATION AND HERITAGE AT WORLD EXPO 2025 IN OSAKA, JAPAN
Ghana is proudly representing the African continent at the World Expo 2025, currently underway in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Under the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” Ghana’s participation spans six months of dynamic exhibitions, cultural showcases, and strategic engagements across key sectors. Leading Ghana’s delegation is the Honourable Sampson Ahi, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, who serves as the country’s Commissioner-General for the Expo. Supporting him is Ms. Rachael Oforiwa Tenkorang, Deputy Commissioner, with oversight of planning and coordination efforts. The Embassy of Ghana in Japan has been instrumental in facilitating Ghana’s successful participation, working closely with Expo organizers, Ghanaian stakeholders, and the diaspora community to ensure strong representation and impactful programming. Ghana’s Pavilion features a vibrant calendar, including Tourism, Health, ICT, Education, and Trade & Investment theme weeks, culminating in a major highlight: the Ghana Day Celebration on 11th September 2025. Activities include showcases of remote healthcare, AI-driven learning, agro-tech, startup growth, and traditional cultural displays. All well-meaning Ghanaians, friends of Ghana, and global citizens are warmly invited to visit the Ghana Pavilion and experience the country’s bold vision, cultural depth, and economic potential. Ghana is here. Ghana is ready. Ghana is rising.
