GHANA SHOWCASES OPPORTUNITIES AT EXPO 2025 OSAKA, JAPAN
Ghana is proudly participating in the Expo 2025 Osaka, which officially opened on 13th April 2025 and will run until 13th October 2025. The Ghana Pavilion was launched as part of the grand opening ceremony, attracting global attention to the nation's dynamic offerings. Leading the Ghana delegation was Hon. Sampson Ahi, Commissioner General of the Ghana Team, Deputy Minister of Trade, and Member of Parliament for the Bodi Constituency, who joined H.E. Genevieve Edna Apaloo, Ambassador of Ghana to Japan, and other officials of the Ghana team for the Expo’s opening ceremony and the inauguration of the Ghana Pavilion. Under the theme “Ghana: A Country of Possibilities and Empowerment,” the pavilion highlights key sectors driving national development, including: • ICT & Digital Innovation • Education & Human Capital • Health • Trade & Investment • Tourism • Japanese ODA Assistance to Ghana Visitors are treated to vibrant cultural displays, featuring Kente cloth, Adinkra national symbols, traditional beads, African drums, and a life-size model of the cocoa tree. Guests can also enjoy the unique experience of dressing in Kente for memorable photo opportunities. Ghana’s participation is a powerful statement of its readiness to engage the world, showcase its potential, and strengthen global partnerships through innovation, culture, and trade.
