GHANAIAN ENGINEER PLAYS KEY ROLE IN ISPACE’S LUNAR MISSION “RESILIENCE”
On May 27th, 2025, the world caught its breath as RESILIENCE, a lunar lander developed by Tokyo-based space company ispace, looked back at Earth from orbit around the Moon, capturing a stunning Earth-rise image.
Among the brilliant minds behind this mission is Dr. Benjamin Bonsu, a proud Ghanaian engineer whose expertise contributed to the design, assembly, and testing of RESILIENCE in Japan. Based in Tokyo, Dr. Bonsu continues to be a trailblazer for Africa in the global space arena.
