Tokyo, April 2025 – The Embassy of Ghana in Tokyo wishes to announce a curated list of highly competitive fellowship, research, and scholarship opportunities in Japan for the 2024–2025 academic year aimed at Ghanaian students, academics, and early-career professionals. The initiative, supported by Dr. Abdul Majid of the Institute of Business Research in Tokyo, reflects growing academic cooperation between Ghana and Japan and seeks to strengthen capacity-building through international education and research exchange. The listed opportunities span some of Japan’s most prestigious institutions, including the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA).
