STRENGTHENING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS: MARUBENI AFRICA TEAM MEETS GHANA'S AMBASSADOR AHEAD OF TICAD9
On Friday, 25th April 2025, the Africa Team Officers from Marubeni Company Limited paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Genevieve Edna Apaloo, Ghana’s Ambassador to Japan, and held strategic discussions with officers of the Embassy at the Chancery in Tokyo.
The engagement focused on Marubeni’s strategic role and participation in the upcoming TICAD9 Conference, scheduled to be held in Yokohama City from 20th to 22nd August 2025.
The meeting was led by Mr. Shinsuke Suyama, General Manager, Middle East, Central Asia & Africa Section, who expressed Marubeni’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Ghana and supporting the continent’s development through strengthened public-private partnerships.
H.E. Ambassador Apaloo, in her remarks, welcomed the initiative and expressed appreciation for Marubeni’s sustained engagement on the African continent. She emphasised Ghana’s openness to strategic partnerships that promote innovation, industrial growth, and inclusive development.
